Hi! My name is Olya, I’m a self-taught artist living in Kyiv (Ukraine).
This website is my personal blog, while being a part of a “Living Duality Circle” – community of resonant artists and spiritual seekers.
Omnia means “whole, entire”, Rasa represents the idea of taste, like ability to experience any kind of perception. And Design – is not only about Art.
I guess every person in the world can be called a multi-dimensional one: we have a lot of connections with people, activities, interests, tasks to do and so on. A lot of sides each of us has.
And since it’s my personal blog website, I decided not to narrow its content with only art, but also sharing here all interesting moments of my life.
My two main areas of interest: Consciousness/Mind exploration and Art.
(I do think that Consciousness has something to do with Dimensions/Geometry).
Having a psychological education, yet my creative side takes most of my time. Though, I still and always seek to combine my interests and skills into activity, which could be useful for society, at any range. Art + Philosophy. Everything is connected with everything.
I’m a big fan of Advaita teaching (non-dualism) and Carlos Castaneda heritage. You can find posts on these topics in a Spiritual blog category.
I’ve been a creative person since childhood, tried numerous creative handmade techniques.
My favorite is this one, love it so much.
Since 2016 I’ve been inventing and making LED art objects as a full time job. Truly, I treat my items like my children because I put all my best energy while making them.
All the making process is on me: from assembling and painting frameworks to soldering LED tapes and performing thread work. Picking materials, communicating with clients, packing and sending items.
Originally I picked Metatron’s Cube symbol as a logo to my art because it’s a perfect form where every point is connected with another one + it’s a sum of all 5 platonic solids. Very integrative scheme.
2018-2019 were quite productive and interesting. I sent my items to different countries around the world thanks to Etsy market platform.
I share here my inquiry and inspiration in a Sacred Geometry area of knowledge multipled with handcraft arts exploration. So interesting to experiment in performing physical items of abstract geomety ideas – in unique art objects of a high aesthetic and meaning value.
Complexity, symmetry, harmony. Math laws, fractality.
Challenging mind for it’s dimentions calculating ability. Widening horizons of imagination and thinking.
Geometry objects which represent basics of material world forming – 5 Platonic solids are a starting point of my art, I already tried making all 5 of them.
And the very first form was – Merkaba (Stella Octangula). I created lots of them of different kinds.
And provided master classes on festivals.
Wishing to inspire many for their creative challenges and achievements. And – through Philosophy – better understanding of themselves, other people and the world as a whole.
For me Sacred geometry objects are a representation of God in an abstract, impersonal, way. Common laws of how’s Life is organized. Probably it has few to do with usual human understanding of God. Geometry is quite cold and merciless. But it’s TOTALLY balanced – the goal, to which everyone is aiming to – consciously or not.
These laws fit anybody this or that way, despite a worldview/religion/mentality, so anyone can find smth useful in exploring these structures.
