About the Work
Not every truth needs to be thirty feet tall.
The Pixie is the most intimate work in the Living Duality collection — small enough to hold, light enough to carry, precise enough to reward close examination. It embodies the same geometric principles as the Time Matrix and the Meta Matrix, but at the scale of the hand rather than the playa.
There is something important about this. The grand installations produce awe, which is a legitimate response to truth but not the only one. The Pixie produces curiosity — the desire to turn the object over, examine it from every angle, discover its hidden faces and unexpected proportions. Where the large works demand that you walk around them, the Pixie invites you to rotate it in your fingers and bring it to eye level.
The geometric duality is identical to the larger works: a form that holds multiple states simultaneously, that cannot be fully resolved into a single reading. But at this scale, the philosophical statement becomes personal. You are not standing before the geometry. You are holding it. The Unified Field Theory fits in your pocket.
